I absolutely love when clients come to me with a clear artistic idea! Kaya is really up on fashion and art and approached me for some new artist portraits (she's a super talented vocalist) with lots of inspiration she had gathered. She wanted something bright and quirky, so I suggested we make use of East Vancouver's great murals, and then the colourful flowers of Queen Elizabeth Park. 

 

Our shoot day was sweltering hot, but Kaya was cool as a cucumber and down to trek all over the area. She was also down for me getting creative and doodling all over her images to match some of the inspiration she provided!
