Fitting it in right in time for printing the shots for their wedding, Sarah, Des & I got together on this balmy May evening, starting in Gastown, for their connection session! They wanted a mix of city and nature, and used to live in Gastown, so it was the obvious choice to begin things! Sarah donned a chic pair of wideleg pants and a stylish hat while Des kept it dapper in a casually styled suit and sneakers. Despite it being a gorgeous Saturday and therefor VERY busy in Gastown, Sarah & Des were total pros at fielding all the curious eyes that are part and parcel with shooting in Gastown on a nice day, much less a Saturday as tourist season kicks off!

We kept it short and sweet due to the crowds, and once we had what we wanted, we buzzed off over Lions Gate to Caulfeild North Van for a change of scenery, and a wardrobe change into something a little more romantic and simple. This is one of my favourite spots, it's so quintessentially West Coast lookin', it always shows out with gorgeous views. We were also perfectly in time for the seasonal bluebell bloom, and these two totally trusted the process when I asked them to lay down on the grassy lawn and arranged flowers all around their faces haha!
